Smarttech247 uses AI tools to support our website and content. This page explains where we use them, what we don’t do, and what stays with our team.
Researching and writing articles
We use AI to help research and draft articles. Every article is edited and fact-checked by our team before it is published, and we list our sources. AI assistance doesn’t replace that review.
Bringing our own information together
We use AI to consolidate information from across our website, published resources and documentation, for example when compiling guides or keeping content consistent.
Images
We may use AI to increase the resolution of images, or to create new ones.
What we don’t do
- We don’t publish AI-generated quotes or attribute words to a named person who didn’t say them.
- We don’t invent statistics, claims or case studies, or present another organisation’s work as our own.
- We never change the features or appearance of any individual who appears in our images.
- We don’t publish AI-drafted content without human editing and fact-checking.
Accountability
Our content is published under the name of a member of our team, who is responsible for it. If you spot an error, email tadhg@smarttech247.com and we’ll correct it.
