CluneTech

CluneTech is a suite of companies offering solutions across digital sales, global payroll, tax compliance, global VAT and cross-border payments. Onboarding was inherently complex: six large companies sitting under one umbrella, each needing to be onboarded individually and reported on separately, not a single, simple environment.

Before Smarttech247, the internal team was investigating somewhere in the region of 1,200 to 1,400 offenses a month, assigned over from the previous provider, a volume that consumed significant internal resource with no clear sense of what actually mattered.

Onboarding took three months start to finish across all six entities, which CluneTech's Information Security Manager describes as impressive given the complexity. By the end of it, CluneTech had proper governance in place and could report at risk level up to senior management, with clear visibility into which areas needed focus.

Monthly offense volume dropped from roughly 1,200 to 1,400 under the previous setup to around 30 a month with Smarttech247's SIEM and SOC, a significant reduction in resource impact on the internal team, attributed directly to the SOC's filtering expertise.

Smarttech247 has worked with CluneTech since April of the previous year, delivering the SIEM solution backed by the SOC. Beyond the core service, Smarttech247 has continued to bring proactive improvements to the partnership, VisionX being the clearest example: a single dashboard giving oversight of threat management, a clearer read on risk profile, better-prioritised incident handling, full integration across CluneTech's various security tools, and customisable reporting for different internal audiences, whether that's day-to-day management and troubleshooting or compliance evidence.
