Log decision paths, feature weights, confidence scores. Ensure every action can be traced back. Use interpretable models where possible, or add surrogate models for explanation. - Human-in-the-loop guardrails
Especially in high-stakes areas (fraud, legal, identity), always have human review and override paths. Don’t let AI have unrestricted final say. - Data minimization and consent
Only collect what’s necessary. Mask or anonymize sensitive fields. Use differential privacy or synthetic data when possible. Enforce retention policies. - Resilience to adversarial inputs
