Smarttech247 is offering 60 places for an intensive course which will help develop your skills for a future in cybersecurity and technology.

Our Academy curriculum covers the knowledge and skills required to tackle the ever-growing range of cyber attacks that threaten individuals and organisations around the world.

 

The Academy will take applications from graduates with a relevant degree. This can be in cyber systems, software or information security, network engineering or computer science. It will help transform their skills into talents that can be used in the Cybersecurity Industry. This program is not only designed for recent graduates. Also, for threat hunters and/or pentesters who are looking to become more proficient in their field.

 

Individuals will be given the chance to work alongside some of the best in the industry. They will also be gaining expertise level knowledge in some of the top cybersecurity facilities in the world as cybersecurity analysts, threat hunters or penetration testers.

The Smarttech247 teams based in the three Security Operations Centres are capable of analysing millions of cyber security events every day for their diverse client base. Academy Participants will be given the opportunity to use the latest sophisticated technologies.

Over a 6-week term using remote and on-site learning, students of the Smarttech247 Women in Cybersecurity Academy will have:

• Access to expert level knowledge
• In-depth industry experience
• Experience using the latest sophisticated technologies
• The chance to work alongside some of the best analysts, pentesters and threat hunters in the industry

Once an end-of-term assessment has been completed, a number of the best performing students will be offered a year’s placement at one of Smarttech247’s bases in Ireland or abroad. Assessment will be based on a range of assignments and projects. 

Smarttech247 is seeking applications from women who have, or who are on track to receive at least an undergraduate degree in computer science.

We are keen to draw on as wide a talent pool, including women looking to return to the workforce. Also those already working in cybersecurity who want to refine their skills.
