Smarttech247 is looking for an ambitious UI/UX Designer who will focus on improving the end-to-end UI/UX of products, working in close collaboration with product managers, software engineers and brand/marketing team. You will tackle complex challenges and help bring the company vision to life by shaping intuitive and delightful customer journeys, significantly impacting development and future direction of our products.  

  

You’ll be responsible for:  

• Owning and iteratively improving the end-to-end user experience of our products. 

• Designing and documenting a Product Visual Design/User Experience document to provide guidelines for Product teams to ensure a consistent visual and user experience across our products. 
• Creating wireframes and creating visual prototypes for new features and functionality. 
• Planning and performing needed competitive as well as user research, building insights from both qualitative & quantitative data in order to inform your proposed designs. 
• Acting as a customer advocate while continuously partnering with product managers, engineers, and other design practitioners. 

  

Must haves:  

• Demonstrated track record (4+ years) of designing, shipping, and iterating on complex digital software products.  
• Extensive experience with wireframing tools and rapid prototyping.  
• Self-starter, able to work independently on complex challenges.  
• Experience with Web development and Web conventions (CSS, padding, margins, alignment, white space usage, etc…)  

• Able to express yourself clearly and get stakeholders onboard with your ideas.  

  

Bonus Points (but not required):  

• Prior experience building visual design/visual identity documents.  
• Prior experience working with agile (Scrum) teams.  

• Experience in working with large, complex applications.
